Seahawks Pick Up 22nd Season Win Over Cougars to Remain Undefeated in Conference and Region

The Cecil College men's basketball earned their 22nd win on Wednesday after defeating the Cougars of Frederick Community College by a final score of 103-69. The Seahawks are undefeated in the conference and look to close out the season with a perfect record.

Frederick Community College were led by Alexander Williams with 22 points and 4 rebounds. Jack McGaha added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the loss.

Sophomore forward Khalid Gates has been a constant force with another huge double–double for the Seahawks in the win with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore guard Perren Gyan recorded 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Sophomore guard Hassan Corbin added 15 points and 8 rebounds for the Seahawks in the win.

Cecil College men's basketball team looks to earn another win when they travel to play CCBC Dundalk on Saturday, February 26th. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m
