Seahawks Fall to Tribunes

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Cecil men's basketball came up just short on day one in New York, dropping a 68-63 decision to the Monroe CC Tribunes on Saturday afternoon.

The Seahawks fall to 0-2 after the defeat.

Turning Point

Joshua Louis' layup cut Monroe's lead down to a half-dozen with 29 seconds to go. The Seahawks attempted to trap the Tribunes, but ended up fouling them to stop the clock. Monroe knocked down a pair of free throws, then weathered a late Cecil offensive barage to walk away with the win.
