Bio

Vince Goldsberry is in his first season as an assistant coach at Cecil.

A Wilmington, Delaware native with an extensive playing background, Goldsberry brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion for player development to the Seahawks program.

Goldsberry was a standout athlete at St. Elizabeth’s High School, where he earned All-State honors and led the state in scoring, averaging 30 points per game. His success earned him a Division I scholarship to Coppin State University, where he was a key contributor to the Eagles’ 2007–2008 MEAC Championship and NCAA Tournament birth. 

Following his collegiate career, Goldsberry signed professionally with KK Lirija in Skopje, Macedonia, and went on to play internationally in Mexico, Germany, and Canada. His global experience has shaped his understanding of the game and prepared him to mentor athletes at the next level.

Beyond his playing career, Goldsberry is the owner and founder of the A1 Academy of Basketball, where he has dedicated himself to training and developing young athletes, helping them maximize their potential both on and off the court.
