Cecil College Women's Basketball Announces 2024-25 Schedule

NORTH EAST - The Cecil College women's basketball team has announced its complete schedule for the 2024-25 season.

The Seahawks open the season with four straight games at home, beginning with their Nov. 12 opener against Middlesex. This contest is Cecil's first since the 2019-20 season. 

Cecil heads to the road for two games in December, including its first Region 20 Division 2 bout against Prince George's on Dec. 6. The Seahawks lone home game for the month is a region meeting with Frederick on Dec. 11.

Beginning with Howard on Jan. 8, the Seahawks start 2025 with seven consecutive region contests. At the end of this string of games is the Region 20 D2 champion CCBC-Essex on Jan. 29. Cecil caps off the month one day later with a non-region game against Delaware Tech.

February is highlighted by home games against Anne Arundel (Feb. 1) and Potomac State (Feb. 19). Cecil rounds out the regular season with trips to four-year Patrick Henry College (Feb. 22) and region foe Montgomery (Feb. 26).

Howard is set to host the Region 20 Division 2 Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments from March 5-8. The winners receive an automatic bid to the NJCAA D2 National Basketball Championship.
