Cecil Drops Anne Arundel for First Region Victory

ARNOLD, Md. - Cecil women's basketball earned its first Region 20 Division 2 victory since the 2019-2020 season, defeating the Anne Arundel Riverhawks 70-38 on Saturday afternoon.

The Seahawks bump up to 2-3 (1-0 R20) after the win.

Turning Point

Cecil dominated the second quarter, outscoring its host 27-5. This included a 16-0 run midway through the period. Bri Shelton headlined the effort with 11 points.
