FREDERICK, Md. - Freshman Bri Shelton and Sara-Zionna Benson combined to score half of Cecil's points, boosting women's basketball to a 70-55 win over the Frederick Cougars on Wednesday evening.

The Seahawks jump to 7-9 (4-3 R20) on the year.

Turning Point

The Seahawks outscored Frederick 23-10 in the second quarter. Cecil sank nine of its 18 shot attempts, while limiting Frederick to five makes and forcing eight turnovers.
