NORTH EAST - Cecil dropped its fifth straight match to start the season, falling 3-1 to the Carroll Lynx to begin Saturday's tri-match.
The Seahawks did manage to win its first set of the year, claiming a 25-21 victory in set three. All four sets were determined by six points or less.
Despite a 2024 best 45 kills for the Seahawks, they were ultimately undone by season highs in attacking errors (27). Cecil also matched its high of 15 return errors.
After the loss, Cecil drops to 0-5 (0-2 R20).
