Cecil Serves Up Win Over Frederick

NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil women's volleyball grabbed finished out Region 20 play with a victory over the Frederick Cougars in straight sets.

The Seahawks are now 12-6 (9-6 R20 D2) after the win.

Turning Point

The Seahawks did commit an attacking error in the second set, while Frederick committed nine. This included nine straight points for the Seahawks in the middle of the set, during which the Cougars committed five errors.

Notable Numbers

• This is Cecil's eighth sweep of the season
• The Seahawks collected 13 services aces, one shy of their three set high for the year
• Etta Harris led all players with a dozen kills, her 11th straight contest with double-digit kills and 16th on the season
• Kendra Watters chipped in seven kills and six digs
• Hadlee Hamm topped everyone with 13 digs
