Hagerstown Narrowly Defeats Cecil, Ends Postseason Run

NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil volleyball had its season come to a close on Sunday afternoon, falling 3-2 to No. 3 Hagerstown.
The Seahawks finish the season 15-7.
Match Highlights
- Hagerstown took sets one and three, while Cecil won sets two and four to force a tiebreaker
- The Seahawks went down 6-3 in final frame
- Hagerstown stretched its lead out to six, but the Seahwaks took three of the next four points to pull within four
- The Hawks landed its 14th point on a kill, putting them a point away from victory
- The Seahwaks survived four straight match points thanks to a kill from Etta Harris, an ace, and a pair of attacking errors
- Another kill from Harris gave the Seahawks match point at 15-14
- Hagerstown fended off match point with a kill, then won the final two via a Cecil error and an ace

- Harris collected 21 kills in her final game as a Seahawk
- Kendra Watters finished with 15 kills and 16 digs
