NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil suffered deja vu from Saturday's doubleheader, eking out a game one victory before losing the second game.
The Seahawks are now 10-8 overall.
Game One - Cecil 5, Ulster County 4
In a near mirror of Saturday's first contest against Catonsville, Cecil took a lead into the seventh inning against Ulster. Mike Preske would struggle to retire the side, leading the Seahawks to once again call Chris Woods from the outfield for the save. Woods nearly replicated the same effort, forcing the first batter to fly out before a ground out ended the affair.
Cody Kunca's home run gave Cecil the lead in the bottom of the third. The freshman led all hitters with three hits. Mason Ritchter chipped in two hits and two RBI.
Trent Wolf (2-1) struck out eight and allowed no earned runs to take the win.
Game Two - Ulster County 12, Cecil 3
The Sehawks struggled in the field, committing a half-dozen errors during the loss. Cecil's offense produced three runs off six hits but left 11 runners stranded.
Christian Kleckner and Andrew Baldini led the Seahawks with two hits each. Zach VanDyke stole a bag and walked twice.
Kyle Hyre (1-2) was handed the loss on the hill.
