FREDERICK, Md. - Cecil baseball fell in both sides of a doubleheader to the Frederick Cougars.
Game One - Frederick 3, Cecil 2
The Cougars walked off Cecil in the opener, scoring a pair of runs in the final inning on a pair of RBI singles.
Jevin Seifert doubled and drove home a run, while Tim Ramirez walked with the bases loaded to score a second.
Ty Whittaker went six innings and struck out four but received a no decision. Trent Wolfe (2-2) was given the loss after pitching the seventh.
Game Two - Frederick 10, Cecil 0
Frederick scored a half-dozen runs in the bottom of the fifth to mercy rule Cecil in the closing contest.
The Seahawks were limited to five hits. Kaden Kemp collected two, including one double. Chris Woods walked three times.
Mason Burlingame took the defeat from the hill.
