LA PLATA, Md. - Cecil baseball was blanked in game one, then swung into form with a game two victory at Southern Maryland.
The Seahawks are now 21-23 on the year.
Game One - Southern Maryland 2, Cecil 0
Mason Richter collected both hits for the Seahawks in defeat. Both of the Hawks run came off of RBI singles in the bottom of the fourth.
Pat Callahan struck out four and was solid over six innings.
Game Two - Cecil 11, Southern Maryland 6
Cecil started off the game with five runs, then scored five more in the fifth to seal a split with Southern Maryland.
Mason Richter remained hot with three RBI and two hits, including a triple. Jevin Seifert hit a grand slam. Chris Woods stole three bases and had two hits. Zach VanDyke chipped in two RBI.
