NORTH EAST - Cecil College men's soccer sent off their six sophomores in style on Saturday, dominating Delaware County 12-0 in the Seahawks final home game of the season.
Cecil's seventh win of the season sets a new single-season program record (2000-present). The Seahawks 12 goals and 12-0 margin of victory are also new highs for the program in its modern era (2014-present).
Ronaldo King led the way on offense, scoring four goals while picking up an assist on four more. Izak Battle Jr. grabbed a hattrick and one assist, while five additional Seahawks picked up one goal each.
The result was never in doubt for Cecil, as the Seahawks kicked off the game by scoring twice in the opening fifteen minutes. They would find the back of the net four more times before the half expired, extended their lead to 6-0. Cecil then matched its first half effort with a half-dozen goals in the second.
The Seahawks improve to 7-7 on the year after the win.
