NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil women's volleyball knocked off the College of Southern Maryland (CSM) Hawks in straight sets on Tuesday afternoon. The Seahawks victory is their first against CSM since 2019 and marks just the second Region 20 loss on the year for the Hawks.
Cecil improves to 11-4 (8-4 R20) for the season and extends its winning streak to seven matches.
Turning Point
Trailing 11-6 in the middle of set two, the Seahawks would allow CSM to score just four points the rest of the way. Cecil scored 19 points during this stretch, including eight straight to take the lead.
